Bluegrass Music - Fox River

Greetings! We're glad you've come, and we hope you'll spend a short time getting to know a few things about Fox River.

Bluegrass is, undeniably, the category into which the band fits. However, a show by Fox River covers a lot of ground, as the group glides effortlessly and seamlessly from traditional bluegrass to "newgrass" to bluegrass gospel, with tinges of Americana and classic country.

Fox River

There are five strong vocalists within the group, and that is part of what makes "variety" one of the strongest aspects of a Fox River performance. Each of the five is excellent in his/her own way, but they all sound different yet blend well, and that's one of the most delightful parts of the experience.

But that's certainly not all they can do. The vocals are just part of the mix. Any Fox River show will feature plenty of superb instrumental work, whether from fiddle, banjo, resophonic guitar, mandolin, guitar, or bass. It's impressive to see how all these good sounds form a solid framework for the vocals, and there will be no shortage of exciting instrumentals in any Fox River show.
